Katia from Absolute Escapes explores the Islands of Guernsey

Absolute Escapes provides award-winning walking and self-drive holidays across the UK & Ireland, offering imaginative, unique and unforgettable holidays. Guernsey’s magnificent coastal path features in its Channel Island itinerary and Katia’s recent trip included exploring some more highlights perfect for adding to both a walking holiday itinerary or self-drive route.  

Katia’s itinerary included an overview island tour to familiarise her with the island and visits to Herm and Sark to experience the unique walking on these car-less islands. Keen to make the most of her time, Katia also stayed at 6 different local hotels and sampled menus at various restaurants in town such as Copenhagen, Christies and Octopus as well as elsewhere across the island at The Peninsula, Les Douvres and Fleur du Jardin.
