Welcome to Ambition for her inaugural visit to Guernsey
On 20 July, Guernsey welcomed Ambassador Cruise Line’s Ambition to Guernsey waters for the first time.

Ambassador is the first new British cruise line to be launched since 2010. Built in 1999 with a refit this year, she entered service in May 2023. Carrying up to 1,200 passengers, Ambition operates itineraries from London Tilbury and offers cruises from six UK regional ports including Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth.
To mark Ambition's inaugural port of call to Guernsey, representatives from VisitGuernsey, The States of Guernsey, Guernsey Ports, St Peter Port Douzaine and Channel Seaways were welcomed aboard to exchange plaques with the captain and talk about the Islands of Guernsey as a port destination within their routes.
