Visiting Journalists

At VisitGuernsey we recognise the best report is a first hand one based on a real experience. While there is limited number of press facility visits that Guernsey can support each year we are enthusiastic to assist where possible.

Guernsey operates a programme of both group, themed and individual press trips. Journalists with a confirmed commission from an appropriate publication/outlet will be assisted accordingly.

Essentially our criterion is to offer complimentary travel and accommodation for two nights for journalists from the UK market and three nights for European and international journalists. Tailor made itineraries, familiarisation visits and hosted meals are provided, as appropriate, depending on the nature of the visit. Additional nights can be negotiated, depending on the nature of the commission, for the writer not for additional persons travelling in the party.

Support will also be considered for visiting broadcast media where the Islands of Guernsey will an integral part of the feature. Impressive B roll footage is available on request.
