Day One

Visit the historic north on a Tasty Walk. Take walk 5: section 1 from the Tasty Walk handbook. This walk takes you along gentle terrain, starting at Rousse tower, passing a number of historical sites and beautiful views. This walk finishes at finishes at Pembroke Bay where you can enjoy lunch in the outdoor eating area at the Boathouse.

During the afternoon, should you wish to continue your walk, move on to walk 5: section 2 starting at L’ancresse Bay and continuing until you reach Vale Castle.

Alternatively this afternoon head into St Peter Port and take a boat charter or rib voyage, giving you the opportunity to take in the island’s diverse coastline and the chance to catch a glimpse the Bailiwick’s much-loved puffin!

Day Two

Hire a bike and explore the island on two wheels! Cycle tour booklets can be picked up from the information centre, including recommended routes suitable for any pace. Alternatively go on a guided bike tour with Donkey Day's Out.

The island has 27 beaches to explore; from sheltered south coast coves to the wide expanses of white sand to the north.

Head to the West coast and try surfing at Vazon Bay.

Travel further along the West coast and visit Lihou, this is a small island accessible by a causeway at low tide for about two weeks every month.

Pack a picnic and enjoy your lunch on the beach.

Try something adventurous this afternoon and visit the south coast and take part in kayaking or coasteering at Petit Bot with Outdoor Guernsey.
